The Serpentine

In between feedings at British Food Festival at Harrods we decided to walk over to Hyde park to see the Serpentine. It's this outdoor pavilion designed by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa of SANAA (ya, I couldn't pronounce it either). It's designed to give the illumination of smoke flowing freely between the trees.
Here is Eric admiring this piece of architecture. He's taking in this great "space".
While he was taking a million photos I camped out in a nice sunny area. It was so nice to be in the warm sun!
The structure is made out of aluminium and the appearance changes according to the weather, allowing it to melt into the surroundings.
What a nice place to hang out on a sunny afternoon.
