Close - But Not Close Enough

We are getting closer to having internet at our flat. After much paperwork (from school and utility bills) and delays (computer crashes and fire alarms at the bank) we were finally able to open a bank account yesterday! Yay! Now, we have to wait for our bank cards to come in the mail before we can open up an account for internet and to get a real phone. The bank says it will take about 10 days. Ug. Until then, we will still be using the internet at the University. It's not bad - just a hassle for blogging. This phone/internet stuff is expensive and ridiculous! Last night we went to the LDS Temple in London with some great new friends from the ward. It's a lot closer to us than we thought. It's actually near the Gatwick airport which is about 35 minutes from us by car. The temple is beautiful and the new visitors center is nice - but small. We watched a video about Joseph Smith and his life. What a great and emotional movie. Afterwards we went to a nice pub for delicious Lancashire hotpot and fish pie. Mmmm, nice comfort food for a cold evening. We didn't get any photos of any of the evening - sorry. It was a great evening to prepare for a long day of Conference tomorrow. Cheers
