St. Peter's Square
There were loads of people in and out of St. Peter's the three days we went there. We happened to choose one of the busiest times to visit Rome, Easter holiday!! It was a snowy February night when we were booking it. I guess we were just too excited to go.
Quite a bit of the inside of the church was blocked off for the many masses that were being held that weekend. Our luck came upon us once again and we missed the experience of seeing each one. Timing is everything. It would have been fun to go up in the cupola but it closed every time we tried as well. That's okay. It will be something new for us to do next time!
