Devils Dyke

After church one sunny Sunday afternoon we decided to hop on the bus and venture to Devils Dyke. We heard about this place quite a bit and have been waiting for a nice day to go.
This is the best picture we got of it but it's a 300 ft deep valley carved by water running off the Downs during the Ice Age.
At the top of the hill is a hotel and restaurant. You can't tell from our photos but there were a lot of people there that day.
Picnicking and enjoying the view from the hill top.
Because it was super windy we didn't hike around for more than a couple of hours.
The view was great though. You could see Brighton and the sea on one side and many smaller villages on the other.
