Yay for London!

A few of us from uni met up for a day in London.
We toured Shakespeare's Globe. Honestly, it was just okay. The tour had some interesting parts but for a half-hour of talk and just moving to a different view of the stage, it really wasn't worth it. Good thing we had a 2 for 1 but even then... Actually seeing a performance would have been much more worth it. Too bad the season is over till next spring.
Next, we headed over to the London Ice Bar!
It's a bar made out of ice!
We were given some pretty stylin' capes to wear. They boys sported them quite nicely.

We girls looked like snow queens. Ha Ha!
The glasses were even made of ice!
Anyone up for a game of frozen Tic-Tac-Toe?
It was pretty cold in there! Go figure!
After, we walked around SoHo and stumbled across a cupcakery!
Seriously, it wasn't intentional and I in no way misled our clan astray to this place. Cupcakes and I just gravitate to each other.
There were some naughty cakes.
And £4 Marilyn Monroe cakes.
Admit it guys, you get excited for cakes too. You just use us girls as an excuse.
This is the one Eric and I shared. Chocolate and mini malt balls.
Of course it was good!
Our evening continued to a fun Mexican restaurant/bar for a margarita.
Arrrrriba Arrrrriba!!
Then to Wahaca for the BEST mexican food we've had since we've been here.
We miss good mexican food and this did not disappoint. Yummers!
We enjoyed the rest of the lovely night wandering the busy streets of London.
Thanks for a super fun day everyone!

  2. Cool! Now I don't feel so bad that I missed the Shakespeare's Globe Theater. We wanted to go and see a show though. Instead we did the Jack the Ripper Walk.
