We finally got it started! Here are a few photos of where we live. Right now we're still trying to find our way around (and getting lost - a lot), get into a permanent flat, and get accounts set up here (like phone, internet and banks). We have the internet on and off through people or in the case right now, a hotel. No photos of our flat yet - but will get some soon. This is in Brighton along the beach. It was really nice for the first few days but it's turned into typical English weather - rainy.

On Saturday we were walking around town and ran across this:

And Yes! They have cupcakes! But I didn't buy one because they were 2.50 GBP each! That's like $4 a cupcake! But we heard the ice cream truck and tracked it down. We got what they call a "soft whippy". With a name like that we just had to try one. It tasted just like vanilla cool whip.

So since we couldn't do much over the weekend since the banks and business were closed we decided to go to London for a few days. We've been walking everywhere. It's about a 30 minute walk to Brighton Station. But we decided to splurge and take a bus into town. We found a deal online where you can get a train ticket for 3 GBP! What a deal!

We walk pretty much EVERYWHERE! Occasionally we will ride the train or bus but it's pricey so we just walk. It's a good way to get our exercise. Here's Eric walking to Brighton station on our way to London.
